Simple Four Leaf Clover Craft for St. Patrick’s Day
Sometimes it’s fun to create the more involved crafts that have different materials to explore and result in extravagant art. Other times, parents and teachers are looking for quick, simple and fun.
This St. Patrick’s Day four leaf clover craft brings the quick, simple and fun. The idea was inspired by the respect heart garland we have made.
I originally did this craft with my kids in 2013. However, I am in the process of updating old posts and making videos to enhance your Meaningful Mama experience. It’s great that my kids are now the ones having fun helping me create the videos of crafts they did years ago.
Here’s one of our original photos of doing this craft. My daughter is now 13.

How to Make This Simple Four Leaf Clover Craft for St. Patrick’s Day
- Cut 5 strips of paper measuring 1″ x 11″.
- Fold four of the strips in half.
- Bend the two ends of paper in to form a heart and staple in place. Repeat with three of the other strips of paper. These will form four hearts or the petals of our clovers.
- The final piece of paper will be folded into three parts – two longer ends and one short end (see video tutorial or photo below).
- Staple the four clovers together, leaving one clover not attached to the other. In between those last two clovers, slide in the stem and staple in place.
